A long time ago John J. told me about technorati. I've had a while to get to know the site and I find it utterly fascinating since you can use it to find blogs on your favorite subjects or issues that are important to you. I decided to use some of my tags from my rollyo experience to see what I could find on "eating disorders"...
While I understand that some people find personal blogs offputting or even distasteful (i.e. "vain" or "self-promoting") I would urge them to reconsider. It's true that there are a lot of meaningless blogs out there on anything from "what color my pet frog is" to "Justin Timberlake is SO cute," but there are also a lot of terrific ones that have truly helped those in trouble--whether it's in the area of mental illness or financial planning.
